For Facilities & Organizations:

If your organization or facility provides orientation, staff education, continuing education or community education, you can use our training DVD's  for reliable, cost-effective training that is thorough and easily accessible.  If you choose, your staff can take the test and upon successful completion, a certificate of completion will be provided. Each class takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete and qualifies for One (1) contact hour of continuing education (CEU).

Developing a personal care routine for the Alzheimer’s patient can be difficult.  Some patients refuse to shower or have a sudden fear of water on their face.  Others struggle with dignity issues and frustration of having to rely on you for help. This course will help you understand how to manage some of these concerns as well as how to provide personal care in a way that honors the patient’s preferences and dignity.   This class is appropriate for family caregivers and spouses as well as home health agencies, hospices, assisted living facilities and community service agencies.
